Dear Steve and Mike,
Recently we had some trees taken down from our property by your company. I want you to know how pleased that I was with the whole experience! Mike did a great job representing Red Cedar and explained to me exactly what your crew would be doing and when.
I had concerns regarding the lawn and our basketball court and how the logs would be removed so as not to do any damage. By the time Red Cedar completed the project I could not even tell that you were there . . . except for a lot more sun! Everything was raked clean and the driveway was swept as well. It is nice to see a company take pride in its work and also one that aims to please!
As the work was being done, some of the trees to be pruned were in bloom. I appreciated very that you let them flower and that you came back promptly two weeks later (as you promised) to complete the job.
We have worked with your company several times and have always been impressed. It is nice to know that there are still companies out there that are in tune with quality customer service. Please put us on your referral list, we would be happy to talk to any potential customer of yours!

I am compelled to write this letter as a result of a very satisfying business experience with Red Cedar Arborists. I had trees pruned and shaped on my property on Friday, April 21, 2006. The trees were overgrown and shabby looking, the result of several years of weather and distraction on my part. Two men, Dave and Jose, came here to do the work and acted with such expertise and professionalism that I wanted to make a note of it. They went around the property, assessing the job at hand and weighing the approach with great sensitivity towards the existing landscape. Once the work began, it never stopped. They worked swiftly and deftly, like a team of exceptional players with a clear goal before them and an understanding of each other’s role in the game. Dave and Jose were courteous, friendly and unrelenting in their task of getting the job done without over-cutting. These guys are really talented! Their work is the best I have seen in years of property ownership.
Of noteworthy importance, an example of going the extra mile, Dave and Jose left not one stick of debris after the job was completed. The yard looks pristine, the trees are once again their regal selves (even the mulberry looks great!) and I am one very satisfied customer.
Red Cedar is fortunate to have such professional service people out there representing the company. I will tell the story many times over and recommend this company to anyone who asks. The grounds look beautiful and I do appreciate the work ethic of this company as demonstrated by Dave and Jose.

Dear Mike,
Recently, as I walked towards the Atrium entrance I noticed a person in hospital attire, tubes from her nose, arm attached to an intravenous and IV pump, accompanied by a young woman. From her appearance it was obvious that this person was experiencing a pretty serious illness. They walked together into the garden and sat down. That moment for me was a validation of all the years I have argued and pleaded for a garden such as the one you provided.
I spoke to the woman telling her I hoped that she enjoyed the garden, she replied very enthusiastically that it was just what she needed—think of it, not medicine or treatments, just a peaceful, pleasant outdoor to rest in, away from the clinical environment.
A few weeks ago a developmentally disabled person became very agitated in the lobby. The caregiver took the person outside to sit in the garden, where the person became calm.
These are just two examples of what I have observed since the garden was completed. Patients and visitors are both enjoying the fruits of your labor and very generous and meaningful donation. I am very, very grateful for what you have provided for our clients and want to assure you that you are in all the Sisters’ prayers for your gift.

Gentlemen:
I am writing to express my appreciation for the excellent landscape maintenance service that Red Cedar recently provided me.
From the initial consultation with Brent, for the tree and shrub evaluation and estimate, to the actual work done by Scott, Yubi and Charlie, I received outstanding service. The men, who worked as a team the entire day, took my “older” landscape and transformed it back to beautiful!
It was refreshing to find a company that goes to such great lengths to satisfy its customers. I hope your success will show others that old-fashioned hard work and consideration for customers will never go out of style.
